Water Softeners

Overview

Water softening facilitates hard water being trickled through a bed of ion exchange resin. The ion exchange resin attracts hardness (calcium and magnesium ions), replacing them with sodium ions, preventing scale up of equipment and pipework.

Silica, heavy metals, fluorides, phosphates, and Total Suspended Solids (TSS) can also be removed using a combination of technologies to suit each application.
